Daiki Abe

Biography

Daiki is an MPhil student in Ji Zhou’s group. He aims to develop a fast and non-destructive crop seed analysis system using multispectral imaging data and NGS data. Daiki received his BSc in Plant Sciences from Kobe University, Japan, where he studied the ecotype mechanisms of Asian wild rice. After graduation, he joined the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries of Japan (MAFF). He is currently serving as a long-term overseas fellowship officer for the government.
