Biography

Over the course of two decades, I have immersed myself in the study of calcium signaling in legumes and cereals alongside Prof. Giles Oldroyd FRS at the John Innes Centre and the University of Cambridge. This period has defined my journey as one characterized by continuous exploration and scholarly pursuit.

Throughout my career, I have actively contributed to a myriad of research projects, each serving to deepen my comprehension of biological systems. This scholarly pursuit is underscored by my presence on platforms like Google Scholar, where my contributions are reflected in a citation count of 5005, an h-index of 27, and an i10-index of 29 as of 2023.

Currently, my focal point revolves around the intricate realm of calcium oscillation in cereals. This endeavor is driven by the aspiration to unravel the complexities of symbiotic signaling mechanisms. At the heart of this research lies a profound commitment to the ENSA program, aiming to engineer cereal crops capable of harnessing nitrogen from bacteria. As I navigate the frontiers of scientific inquiry, my passion lies in contributing to advancements that hold the potential to revolutionize agriculture and foster sustainable solutions for the future.
