A new collaboration between the Crop Science Centre and RIKEN has been launched. In the frame of this collaboration, Professor Uta Paszkowski has opened a second research laboratory at RIKEN, which aims to learn about the reprogramming Arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi undergoes to enable it to engage with its host rice. Professors Giles Oldroyd and Julian Hibbard Joined Uta in Riken for the collaboration launch ceremony.
